Ms. Karen Blackledge

Ms. Karen has trained under Chief Master Diwakar “Dan” Maharjan since 1996 and is now 3rd Degree Black Belt. She won a Gold Medal at the 2010 International Open Friendship Taekwondo Championships (IOFTC) hosted in Nepal. She has served as Referee at U.S. National Open Taekwondo Championships and is a USA Taekwondo-Certified National Referee.

Ms. Karen is also an original Board Member of the non-profit IOFTC organization since 2000. She has traveled to help organize IOFTC events in Nepal, Hong Kong and India. In 2013, she introduced and taught taekwondo and self-defense skills to orphan girls at the Metta Center, an organization providing shelter & basic needs to unprotected girls in Banepa, Nepal.
